5 DAYS OF THANKS

I am so thankful for antibiotics, neosporin, band-aids, hydrogen peroxide and anything else that keeps us healthy and clean. Last December Mr. Incredible went to Peru to do some volunteer work, when he came back he told me about a little boy who scraped his leg on some wood down there and because of infection he would probably have to get his leg amputated. How blessed our we that if we or our child falls down and skins their knee we can wash it off and the worst thing that will happen is they will have a scar. I'm so grateful for my health and the health of my family.

I can't believe that trip was almost a year ago! It's neat to see those pictures again.

When Rich got home from Peru he told me a story about a little boy that had just got out of surgery, and the only way of pain relief they could give him was ibuprofen. Pain killers and narcotics are illegal in Peru. The boy just had to suffer through the recovery. It does make you very grateful that if you were to have a major surgery that we are given more then a Tylenol. We are very lucky!

Where was this? How did he connect with these people? We are moving to Lima in July. What a blessing you were to those people.
