Stop Eating the Candy

I'm Creative

Dancing to Christmas Music

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

You know it's Christmas time in our house when... The Christmas tree is up

There is a new Christmas dress and picture taken in front of the Christmas tree
The Christmas lights come out of the garage...
...and go on the house
We got to the annual Festival of Trees
We start making a gingerbread house...
...and finish it.
Plus trying to find hiding places for Christmas presents, making Christmas cookies, making a trip to temple square PLUS listening to Christmas music 24/7...I LOVE Christmas season!!!

A Visit from Cousins

My sister and her family came to visit and I got to watch her kids for a night and let the girls play together. We had so much fun and I hope and pray that they can all move closer and SOON because I miss them like CRAZY!!!

Silly little Ethan. We put this head band on him and he didn't touch it, most kids (Jonathan) would rip it off but not this little guy.
The girls LOVED playing dress up

Last Day of Thankful

I am so thankful for The Plan of Salvation and the knowledge that I have of it. Mr. Incredible and I had an old friend die over the weekend in an accident and didn't find out until today, our hearts are broken because he was a remarkable man and he leaves behind a pregnant wife and 2 young children. I am so happy and thankful that I have a testimony of this gospel and that we'll see all of our loves ones again.

She is all mine, my thankful 29

I know I'm kind of reusing some of my thankfuls but this one is worth reusing. I am so very thankful for this little girl Sally that has come into my life! I'm thankful that she has been healthy and strong and such a joy to be around! I'm not sure if the Lord will bless us with anymore children but as my mother-in-law once said "She is quality!" Our Silly Sally makes my life complete and I'm so thankful to be her mom. Life wouldn't be the same without her.

This trip was great is number 28

WARNING WARNING THIS POST CONTAINS A LOT OF PICTURES
I was looking at our many pictures that we took when we went to England and Paris 6 1/2 years ago and thought about how thankful I am that we were able to make that trip before we had Sally. We spent 10 days in England and 4 days in Paris and stayed at the best Marriott Hotels, because I worked for Marriott at the time and we got a KILLER discount. Mr. Incredible was able to show me some of the sights and meet some people from his mission. It was so great and I will be forever thankful for the time that we were able to spend together. We took 32 rolls worth of pictures (because digital wasn't affordable yet) and here are some of the ones I picked out for you to look at.
We started out in the Manchester/Preston/Chorley area. We stayed 2 nights in the Preston Temple accommodations and was able to do a session with a family that Mr. Incredible knew on his mission, The Johnsons. We hung out with some of the kids from the ward that Mr. Incredible served in one night and went up to the Lake District the next day. After 2 nights we hopped on a train and headed to Liverpool.
When we got to Liverpool we walked all around it and found this huge church, it was awesome! This is Mr. Incredible standing at the gates of the church...can you see that little guy?? :)
We also spent some time down at Albert Docks and the city hall down there. We celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary at a restaurant there too. We stayed outside of downtown Liverpool in this old airport hanger, it was so cool except the 2 twin size beds, so we had to take the bus in everyday. The morning that we left we left our bags at the downtown Marriott and took a cab to the Albert Docks again, I couldn't barely understand the cabby with his accent. So many times I would just look at Mr. Incredible for a translation.
I'm not sure why I picked these two pictures but we also spent a day in Chester. We went to the Chester Cathedral and asked one of the workers a question and he took us on a private tour of the whole Cathedral. We learned so much and he was such a sweet old man :) Chester has a wall build all around it and I think that was one of Mr. Incredibles favorite parts of Chester.
Conway Castle ruins. I thought I uploaded a picture of the whole castle but I don't know what happened.
It rained while we were there, anyone surprised??
Smallest house in Great Britain
One day we went to Wales and visited Conway Castle. It was a little town but so AWESOME. This town also had a wall around it that we walked on and got some killer shots of the town and castle (I didn't want to put too many pictures up). Can you see the castle in the background??
The grounds of Warwick Castle
Beautiful Warwick castle
Princess Diana was there, kinda freaky
See Mr. Incredible has always been silly
We spent 2 nights at a Marriott in Warwickshire which was close to Warwick Castle and Stranford-Upon-Avon. We visited where Shakespeare was born and his wife Anne Hathaway. We did a lot of walking while in England and found a lot of fun houses we had to take pictures of.
We were wondering how this building was still standing
And how anyone could fit in this house, Mr. Incredible is standing flat footed. I'm sure he was a sight to see for all the British, a 6'8" man wearing shorts and a short sleeve shirt in May.
We made a stop on our way to London at Windsor Castle and did a tour, it was fun but we couldn't take any pictures inside (stupid).
This is the car that we rented in Warwickshire because it cost us a base of 25 pounds each time we called a cab from our hotel, CRAZY!! We kept it for the 2 days we were there and drove it down to London. Mr. Incredible did all of the driving, I tried and almost crashed...oops. By the way this is a mid or full size car, I forget but it was small for my tall hubby.
The front door of our hotel in London
The outside of our hotel across from the River Thames, the whole thing wasn't our hotel just the left third...thank you Marriott!
This was the armor for a "giant", which is what Mr. Incredible is, inside the Tower of London
Those swords were HUGE!!!
Big Ben
Mr. Incredible is pointing to our hotel room right by the entrance to the London Eye.
Buckingham Palace
We're on the Millenium Bridge, not really awesome but still a cool shot.
We thought this "hut" was cool. I kinda forget the story but I believe that all these seashells were from the beaches of Normandy. Mr. Incredible at the Tower Bridge when it was up.
We spent 4 nights in London and did EVERYTHING that we could think of. We toured the Tower of London, St. Paul's Cathedral, saw Big Ben, Parliament, saw the city from The London Eye, saw the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace, too a river tour, saw the Tower Bridge, at a real British breakfast and had Sunday Roast, saw Trafalgar square, shopped at that Piccadilly Circus shopping centre...hopefully I'm not leaving anything out :) We had a blast and I would say that London was one of the highlights, for me that is, of our trip.
The Louvre's entrance
On top of The Arch de Triumph looking at the Eiffel Tower
Another shot of the Eiffel Tower
Mr. Incredible at the Arch de Triumph

We spent 4 nights in Paris and it was HOT. We stayed in the only hotel on the Champs-Elysees, a Marriott of course, and we were about 1/4 mile or so from the Arch so that's why we have so many pictures. Things were a little more spread out in Paris but we took the tour bus around and visiting many places. We went to the Louvre and then realized we're not the artsy type. We did see a lot of great paintings and statues though. We went to the top of both the Eiffel Tower and the Arch. We heard lots of great stories behind so many of these land marks and it was very educational. I'm so glad that my Mr. Incredible was able to show me such a fun time in Europe for 2 weeks. Maybe we'll be able to do it again for our 20th anniversary :)

Turkey Bowl

Yesterday Mr. Incredible went to his annual Turkey Bowl with his brother Joshie and for the first time Sally and I went to take pictures, I didn't forget my camera for once! Here are some fun pictures.
I LOVE this picture because no matter what Mr. Incredible is always smiling! Isn't he just perfect? I think this might be the picture right after George (the guy in blue) ran into the skinny guy, but not sure.
I had to put this picture up because right after this was taken George, the guy in the blue, ran into and then over the skinny little guy with blond hair on the left. I sounded like it hurt!
Like that little guy can block Mr. Incredible
Right before Mr. Incredible tipped the ball!

Girl's Night Out

Can you believe that I'm putting up stuff other than my thankful list?? As if I don't have enough posts on my blog this month right?? Last week I had a couple girls night out. First I went and saw the midnight showing of New Moon with my sister-in-laws and a couple of my brother-in-laws, I don't have a picture of that but it was so much fun!! Then the next night I went to dinner and saw New Moon AGAIN with some girls from my ward and their friends. I had such a fun time but like always I forgot my camera so I stole this picture off of Kandis' blog, I hope you don't mind Kandis :)
There is a couple of pictures of the group at dinner and then waiting in line at the movie. My friend, Chrissy, brought this cut out of Edward that her friends bought her and the "Team Edward" girls went nuts :) What a fun group a girls, we laughed so much that night!

Last Night was HEAVEN with number 27

I'm so thankful that we have become such good friends with Mr. Incredible's old mission companion and their family, The Gappmayer Family. The Gappmayer's invited us over for Thanksgiving and we soon found out after that that Mr. Incredible's parents were going to California to visit his older brother for Thanksgiving this year so we had our family Thanksgiving on Sunday and we were able to go to the Gappmayer's for Thanksgiving :) We had a ball watching football, eating, talking, eating, laughing, eating, watching the kids play, eating and more eating! Burke and Joidee made the BEST turkey and Joidee is ALWAYS the best hostess! The kids play so nicely, which makes us so HAPPY, and we were sad to see the night end so quickly for us (Mr. Incredible had to work...BOO!). I forgot my camera, like always, but I did get a cute picture of the kids with their Christmas Cracker prizes and hats on (I know it's not Christmas but it was LOTS of fun!). Thanks again to Burke and Joidee for an AWESOME day, we're so thankful for you guys!!
