Portland - Beach Day 2

The second day we went to Indian Beach which is in Ecola State Park. Sharlene, Nana and the little boys didn't come with us because they day hadn't been very enjoyable the day before and Shar had to get ready for her drive home the next day. We took Laura this time because she missed the trip before. Mr. I wanted to go get a boogie board so he could enjoy the cold water of the Pacific. Aunt Laura did a great job helping the girls find sea shells and looking out for them. All the girls had fun riding on the boogie board (and taking turns falling in the water) and running in and out of the water. We went to Short Sands Beach and without thinking Mr. I put his keys in his swimming trunks and then went to play in the ocean. We didn't know that they were missing until we got back up to the car but luckily I had my set in my purse in the car. Now we needed to find someone to break into our car. My mom found a number of a tow truck company (we still had our cells phones) and the guy showed up within 15 minutes of calling, AWESOME!!! All and all we had a great couple days at the beach!! This picture cracks me up! The girls were running in and out of the ocean and once on the way back Kimmy fell all the way in, she just got up and kept running with a smile on her face!
