My friend Lindsey posted on her blog to start doing fun traditions with your family for holidays. She suggested putting mushrooms out for the leprechauns at night and then they leave gold coins with chocolate in them. We forgot to get some mushrooms on Saturday night so we could do it Sunday night so we decided to try it Monday night. Sally thought it would be fun to put the mushrooms all through the house and this morning she found a bunch of gold coins. Last night she tried some mushrooms for the first time and didn't like them, it's okay sweetie Mommy hates them too :) We got some video from last night and this morning. Thanks Lindsey for such a great idea. We also had green pancakes and green eggs for St. Paddy's Day. Sally had a lot of fun.
Here is Sally trying some mushroom and also trying to explain what we're going to do

Oh I'm so glad Brooklyn loved it!! Motherhood can be very taxing at times, but it's the chance to be a memory creator that makes it all worthwhile for me. Emma was a little young this year to get what was going on, but after watching your videos I just can't wait for next year. We should meet up in SLC sometime and go to the gateway water fountain in the summer time. You're missing out on mushrooms!! Try them grilled with lots of butter and cheese, that's a win win for everyone!
